CNG Technology (Pty) Ltd is a dedicated equipment
supply and service organization. We provide all required CNG
equipment for gas filling stations and Virtual pipeline system.
We also supply the complete set of conversion kits, cylinders
and expertise to convert petrol and LPG powered vehicles to
run on CNG.
Nanobox
This compact, explosion proof "plug and play" module, complete
with storage, compressor and dispenser, is designed to be
installed on an existing pipeline servicing smaller fleets
of cars and forklifts. It is easy to install and the conversion
can be made in short time
Microbox
This compact, explosion proof compressor with its own bank
of storage is used in conjunction with individual dispensers
as for "conventional" filling stations. This powerful compressor
is used where the filling time of the vehicles is crucial,
as for commercial gas filling stations or large fleet owners
of busses and taxis
Boosters
At a remote gas filling station, MAT modules are connected
to the dispenser through a discharge booster, to ensure the
correct compression ratio of the dispensed CNG
MAT
A MAT is a modular transport "battery" of seamless cylinders
interconnected with each other to produce a collective capacity
of approximately 1500 m3. A trailer truck can carry up to
four MAT modules, and are loaded and unloaded onto the truck
using platforms.
Regulating plant
Regulating plant manages the supply of CNG to the end user,
reducing the pressure to densities as low as 1Bar
Conversion kits
CNG Technology has also sourced 4th Generation CNG conversion
kits for vehicles and forklifts. This allows most petrol vehicles
to be converted to CNG. The intelligent mapping system ensures
max efficiency and minimum emissions.
CNG Cylinders
Compressed Natural Gas is stored in a high pressure seamless
cylinder/s at 250Bar. The cylinders are usually placed in
the boot of a vehicle against the back seat, or on the roofs
of busses.
Major benefits:
CNG is a viable alternative fuel source
Environmentally friendly
Petrol vehicles can run on both petrol or CNG
Non-toxic
Produces significantly lesser emissions like CO2 and
NOx's
Existing gas applications can easily be converted
Less maintenance costs due to the absence of lead or
benzene content fouling the spark plugs
Increased life of the lubricating oils as CNG does
not contaminate and dilute the crankcase oil
CNG fuel systems are sealed, which will prevent any
spill and evaporation
CNG fuel cannot be stolen
Excellent alternative to LPG |
