Virtual Gas Network (Pty) Ltd is involved in
the supply of Natural Gas, supplying Compressed Natural Gas
via a "Virtual Pipeline" (road transport system) to various
end users. With the a large portion of Commercial and Industrial
companies not being able to connect to the rigid Natural Gas
network, due to their geographical location, an opportunity
in the market was created in the transport of Natural Gas.
CNG Holdings, has 3 subsidiaries under it, Virtual Gas Network
(Pty) Ltd is one these. CNG Technology, our sister company,
holds the right to sell, distribute, install, maintain and
utilise the technologies of Galileo products in South Africa.
It's with this innovative and leading technology that we're
able to safely and economically transport Natural Gas, thereby
making clean, affordable and sustainable energy accessible
to everyone. With the added benefit of avoiding petroleum
linked monthly pricing fluctuations.
Virtual Gas Network (Pty) Ltd is setting up a CNG "Mother
Station" whereby we "plug in" into the Sasol Gas network.
The "Mother station" is where we compress the Natural Gas
to 250Bar, store it in specialized modules and transported
using our special propriety transport system to customers.
The Gas gets delivered to a "daughter station", at the customer's
site, where it's then de-compressed and regulated into their
network. The whole process is continuously monitored by a
computer based SCADA system thereby ensuring a seamless operation.

Construction has started at our "Mother Station"
and will be operational in early 2010. We've been allocated
a large but limited amount of Natural Gas and we're in the
process of allocating the energy to interested parties. |
